Triple Berry Crumble is a cozy, crowd-pleasing dessert that’s all about big fruit flavor and a buttery crunch. A mix of frozen berries bakes down into a juicy, jammy filling, lightly sweetened with both granulated sugar for brightness and brown sugar for depth. The topping brings it home: hearty oats, warm cinnamon, and chopped walnuts come together into a golden, toasty crumble that contrasts perfectly with the soft fruit beneath.

Triple Berry Crumble

It’s rustic, comforting, and effortless—no need to thaw the berries, just layer, sprinkle, and bake. Serve it warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for that classic hot-and-cold magic.

Instructions

For the Crumble

  1. In a large bowl, combine two softened sticks of butter with oatmeal, walnuts, brown sugar, and spices. Set to the side.

For the Fruit

  1. In a large saucepan, combine fruit, sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice.  Let the fruit thaw and come to a boil.  Remove from heat and start assembling in the casserole dish.

Combine and Bake

  1. In a greased casserole dish, spread out about a third of the crumble mix.  Then pour the fruit mixture in making sure the fruit is evenly distributed.  Use the rest of the crumble to cover the fruit layer.

  1. Bake on 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.  This dessert can be served as is, cold the next day, or with ice cream.  Enjoy!
