Cold winter days always want me to use my crockpot. Warm, hearty soups, stew and chilis can warm you from the inside out. So, with snow on the ground, I knew it was time for some chili. I've made this chili for years, but this time I made one change. I used a chili seasoning blend from The Organizer Man. If you haven't heard of him, definitely check him out. He is all over social media.
This easy recipe will have you double dipping! It also freezes well-just in case you have leftovers.
In a skillet, brown your ground beef. I let mine cook about halfway to get some of the fat out before adding in the seasoning blend. This helps the seasoning to incorporate.
Chop one medium onion and set aside.
Open all your cans while you are waiting for your meat to brown. It is just easier that way. Have them all ready to be poured into the crockpot.
Once your meat is done, start adding everything into the crockpot. Order does not matter in this case.
